Bought in 1904,  the Barwicki farm was the established home place were John and Maryanne Barwicki raised FOURTEEN Barwicki offspring.  Located in the town of Evans, NY on 23 acres of land, the Barwicki's farmed from 1904 through the late 1940's.  The property was sold circa 1945 as both John & Maryanne grew too old to keep it going.  None of the Barwicki Brothers were interested in continuing in the farming business.  For the many family members who lived through the years the Barwicki's ran the farm, there are so many memories of long weekends in the country, the hay rides, playing with the animals, milking the cows, horseback rides, going to Angola on the Beach which was but a couple miles down the road and just visiting with the Grand Parents.

The old Barwicki Farm still in existence today with a new building on the right.  Looks like grape vines are still prevalant as they were in the years Grampa Barwicki farmed the land.

Old photos from the farm days

There were many time's and stories my Mom would talk about visiting and staying at the farm, the fun times, seeing and playing with the various livestock, the hayrides,  the country smell, going to the beach.  Some of the following pictures from the old days 1930's through late 1940's capture some of those moments.
